The City of Coachella is considering rate increases for water and sewer services. Please use this Bill Estimator tool to better understand how proposed water and sewer rate changes would affect you. This tool uses the proposed rate changes from the Cost-of-Service (COS) Studies, which the City Council adopted on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Click or tap on one of the buttons below to calculate what your monthly water bill or sewer bill would be for the years 2027—2031.

The City Council will hold a Public Hearing adopting proposed rate increases for water and sewer services on Wednesday, December 9, 2026. If the City adopts these new rates, they would go into effect on Friday, January 1, 2027. You can learn more about the current Proposition 218 process on the City’s website at Coachella.org/Rates, including how to protest or object to the rate changes.

Each water customer pays a Monthly Meter Charge based on meter size and a Volumetric Rate per one-hundred cubic feet (HCF) of water used.

Single-family residential (SFR) sewer customers only pay a fixed Monthly Charge. All other customers pay a fixed Monthly Charge based on meter size and Volumetric Rate per one-hundred cubic feet (HCF) of water used.
